Not much to do......

I have been duly motivated again!--Thanks Toni!

It seems that not much has been happening here. School started but I have mentioned that already. Jesse is adjusting to being the only child here. Hunter and Harley came over one day and Jesse was very happy about that.

It has been rainy the past few days, remnants of Hurricane Gustav. The rain has let up and I will be glad to see the sun again. I'm just not an indoor person! I have been rearranging the furniture and cleaning like mad.

I was looking forward to going to St. Louis this weekend to visit with Mom and Dad and Michael, Sarah, and Jaxson. Well, that isn't going to work out and I'm not happy about it. I have to see the Stake President an ecclesiastical endorsement interview. I need to get this done soon so I don't have to send a new application~~and since our Stake Center is two hours away......it is just a good idea to do this when the Stake President will be at our ward on Sunday. So, I'm sad about missing my trip and opportunity to see Michael, Sarah, and Jaxson.

So, we have the metal on the carport and can park under it. I made curtains for the bathroom windows. I know, we have been here for three years, but we live out in the middle of nowhere and.....well.....I guess I was never really concerned about it! Here are the lovely pictures. I'm pretty proud of the curtains, if I do say so myself!

The dark one is the basement bath.
The other is the main floor bath.

Good job on your curtains! They do make the rooms look nicer.

I too have noticed that some windows get left until last and it's not until you have lived like that for a while that you appreciate how much it adds to have some kind of window treatment. I know how tricky window treatments can be. They look great!
