I am so worn out! I spent the morning splitting wood, a trailer full(a 12 ft. trailer, I might add..), and stacking it. I am also tired of buying diapers! So, I thought I would try Jesse in underwear again. He has yet to actually do his business in the toilet. I guess it seems like a really good idea until he gets to the toilet part....So, he stayed dry while we were in town. I had to get the oil changed on the van. We come home and the kids are supposed to be doing chores, because they fought and squabbled so much while we waited for the van maintenance. I tried to get Jesse to use the potty, but he wouldn't. I thought he could just go outside and pull his underwear down when he needed to go---good idea, but no, he isn't fast enough with the underwear.
So.......I removed his underwear and let him go 'free'. Then, the kids come running into the house telling me he did his other business out by the trailer, and the dog ate it! So..... now I have a really stinky dog! I don't know what I'll do with that little boy. He was so eager to show me where he had done his business. What a great kid!

It seems like a slider.....
It seems as though we will slide by with just one sick child. Elias' rash has faded quite a bit and he hasn't had a sore throat or fever. The other two, Eva and Jesse, haven't produced any symptoms yet and the incubation period is just about over. I'm thankful that we don't have more sickness.
I have a friend, Rebecca, who will be here for the summer and we have kids around the same ages. It will be fun to play with them, and get to talk to another adult sometimes. Our Sunday was as nice as one can be without going to church. I hate missing church. I feel like something just isn't right for the whole week. The kids actually, though they didn't say it, missed church too. Chad was able to go and said the meetings were good. We played board games most of the day and listened to music. They got to get out the pirate sets, which they haven't seen for about 3 months,--Christmas all over again! They are still, this morning, having a good time with it. It is nice to see them playing well together.

We did salvage a little
So here is a family picture from the big day. We were the red family.
Saturday, Saul didn't have any more fever so, since the family gathering was to be held outside, we went and kept him away from the young children and older people. The kids had a good time. The weather held out and was fairly nice.
It was Grandma Lena's 86th birthday last weekend and with graduation falling so close, there was cause for a big celebration.
Every family had a different color tee shirt. It was neat to see the different colors. I liked it because when there were kids messing, I could tell right away if any of mine were involved.
Chad went out with the missionaries tonight and the kids and I stayed home and cleaned the house and watched a movie. We are not attending church tomorrow because I don't want to get Saul into a closed building with lots of other people.
Now, Elias has a rash similar to Saul's, but no fever. I have a call in to the dr. so we can get it taken care of soon! Hopefully, it is nothing.....
