Another snake.....

Second post of the day--
Bitsy got my attention when she began barking, I don't know but there is something different in her bark when it is a snake. I went over to see and found this just under the corner of the deck.....

Notice the very LARGE frog in its mouth~right near the top of the picture.

Bisty is very concerned. She doesn't like snakes! (it is to the right of the whitish rock)
Oh, that poor BIG frog. I can't imagine the snake could actually eat something that much bigger than itself......I mean, I know it can, but ew, gross!
The frog actually made it out alive. Bitsy barked at the snake for at least 15 minutes, by which time, the snake let go and the poor frog wobbled away as the snake slithered for cover under the rocks. The kids don't play near the rocks so that is a relief! The boys had a great time watching the snake trying to get its prize somewhere quiet.

Three Angels

The first post today........these three are a hoot! They got together in the car and just did not stop talking. Amazing what three three-year olds can come up with to converse about, everything from what is currently on the TV to the amazing fact that all of their Daddys are at work--mine, too!, mine, too!, mine too!

They were a lot of fun.

Jesse, Harley, Hunter--all love to swing--made good exercise for me!

This truck business is so serious. Good thing there were four trucks.

Who knew filling a small cavity in a broken old truck and then emptying it could bring on the giggles?

Hunter loves Bitsy. Grabbing her toy and throwing it to watch her dash after it was his favorite!

Who knew three years ago that the day would come when these three little angels would have such a good time together. I'm excited for the coming years, watching them grow up together and being the best of friends. They certainly bring me a lot of joy!

After School Fun

After dinner, Saul called that I needed to see something he had built. It is a dog. Pretty imaginative! These kids have great minds!

Saul and Eva worked on it together. They are just so proud of their creation.
Saul then went on to build a turtle.
Elias made moose antlers from plastic blocks. I sometimes wonder about him.........

We're not posing, are we!?

Jesse put himself to bed FOR THE NIGHT around 4:30, so he missed out on the building and subsequent pictures. He got up at 5 am, so did I........., and he was enjoying some kind of show in TV. He doesn't get to watch very often, so this was a treat....it let me get some things done before fixing breakfast.
