Fun times at the St. Louis Zoo

What is a trip to St. Louis without the zoo?? The kids really loved it. They had a tame turkey outside the children's zoo that morning. The kids had a good time trying to pet it and getting a picture with it.

Saul-7
Eva-5
Jesse-3

Here the kids enjoyed petting a guinea pig. So soft!!

They had a very cute sign by these frogs. It read: "Frog parking only, all others will be toad"

HaHa~rather clever!

Eva playing on one of the frogs.

Here are the kids on the rock just outside the zoo. They love to climb on that rock.

Here is the final picture. I know you all wanted to see our family. We had a good time and we look good too!

Some summer fun

Such a sad face on this one.

One day, I came into the kitchen to find by sweet little one zonked out on the table. He just couldn't make it through the day!

Here are some of the kids with their dog, Bitsy. She is a well loved animal!

Here also is Saul, with very few clothes on. That is a usual site for him. He is surely a rough and tumble kid!

Don't bug me, I'm reading!

I will just post some pictures and label them. It is easier than trying to explain why I haven't posted in such a long time. I'm probably just not motivated enough to sit down at the computer.

The kids are participating in the Library Summer Reading Program. It is about bugs. Here are the kids with their mouths full of chocolate covered crickets. They said they were good......

Just snoozing away

Here are the two little sweeties snuggling. Most nights, they look like this. They share a bed and do so with little trouble. I'm thankful!

The other day, I found Jesse like this.....so poised! He is just too cute!

Jesse's birthday celebration

And finally, here is is just as happy as could be with his cake. It looks like it is pretty exciting to be a three year old!

(These pictures were supposed to be in the opposite order! Someday, I will figure it all out.....)

Here he is blowing out his match-candle. I realized, too late, that I didn't have any candles upstairs and since he is the fourth child.........yeah, we improvised!

Here he is hammin' it up for the camera. He is one cute little fella. It had been a long day and I already had them all bathed and pj'ed.

So here is his train cake. Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm such an artist! He really loved it!
